Roger Beaujolais is considered one of the top jazz vibes players in Europe. He has a string of very high profile accolades as a session player over the last 3 decades on tons of pop records, having worked with Robert Plant, The Chevalier Brothers, Paul Weller, Fairground Attraction, Kirsty MacColl and many more . He has recorded numerous records as a band leader, and signed to the “Acid Jazz” label in the 90’s, he had a number 1 hit in the USA jazz/funk charts. Today he mostly performs with his quartet and trio that include some of the very top jazz musicians that we have in the Uk playing virtually acoustic jazz , playing many of his own original compositions plus hard bop classics.
This tour in the West Country with Kevin Sanders (double bass ) and Neil Burns (guitar ) coincides with the release of his new album “bags of vibes “ a tribute to Milt Jackson featuring the great Jim Mullen on guita , Robin Aspland - piano, Simon Thorpe -D.Bass and Winstone Clifford - drums . Roger is also a member of the pop group Fairground Attraction that has just reformed after 30 years and Roger will be touring Japan with them in June .

Our Tavern within the venue is open until late, dishing out all the finest local tipples to keep you hydrated, plus if we’re lucky, Garrison Gallery will be serving up a storm of cocktails within their magical art-adorned walls next door. Oscallys Food Wagon will be cooking up top homemade scran to keep your bellies full until 9pm over by the campsite entrance, and The Canteen opens at 9:30am for coffee and breakfast.
